"Blue Lake" is an open edition print.

Blue Lake in Nelson Lakes National Park is recognized as having the clearest natural fresh water in the world, with visibility of up to 80 meters”comparable to distilled water. Probably why the it holds deep spiritual significance to Maori in the region, and the icy cold water was historically used for cleansing the bones of deceased chiefs. If you can handle the rugged terrain of the hike, you'll be well-rewarded when you get there! If you cant, buy the print instead.

We can print larger but only unframed, so you will need to arrange framing yourself. They will be at a 2:1 ratio, for example 1800x900mm - $1250. Ask us for pricing on other sizes.

We print on on high quality Epson Enhanced 192gsm matte paper, so you'll get images with sharp detail, high colour saturation and a high gamut. It is quick drying with a flat matte finish and a bright white base that accentuates highlights and tones.
