"Puteketeke" is an open edition print.

The puteketeke was crowned Bird of the Century in November 2023. Of course, Australia claims it as its own (Crested Grebe)! Flamboyantly crested and dressed in vibrant plumage the puteketeke commands attention as it glides effortlessly across the water. I think this birds striking appearance and confident demeanor reflect the bold spirit of New Zealanders.

Also available on canvas, mounted within a floating timber frame! See CANVAS in the menu options. Sizes are 420x420mm, 594x594mm and 841x841mm.

On Epson Enhanced matte paper, we can also print in landscape or portrait format in “A” sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3). Please note that a mat border is unavailable at the framed A0 size. Please email us at steveballantyneart@gmail.com to order these sizes.

We can print larger but only unframed, so you will need to arrange framing yourself. They will be at a 2:1 ratio, for example 1800x900mm - $1250. Ask us for pricing on other sizes.

We print on quality Epson matte paper to achieve incredible colour and detail and take great care with our print process and quality checks to ensure your print is perfect. 

Your print will carry my digital signature in the bottom right hand corner.
