"Whatipu" is an open edition print.

Dubbed "the Coast of Ghosts" due to a history of strange incidents, Whatipu is as remote as you get for an Auckland beach. A good 60-minute drive from Auckland's CBD, on the West coast, Whatipu is beautifully stark, and the location of many tales, including missing persons, paranormal activity and murder. Wild, moody, and oddly tranquil, it's perhaps my favourite of Auckland's West coast beaches.

We can also print in landscape or portrait format in “A” sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3). Please note that a mat border is unavailable at the framed A0 size. Please email us at steveballantyneart@gmail.com to order these sizes.

We can print larger but only unframed, so you will need to arrange framing yourself. They will be at a 2:1 ratio, for example 1800x900mm - $1250. Ask us for pricing on other sizes.

We print on quality Epson matte paper to achieve incredible colour and detail and take great care with our print process and quality checks to ensure your print is perfect. 

Your print will carry my digital signature in the bottom right hand corner.
